A three day corporate recognition event at the Mayakoba resort required a very non corporate look. This was the second time the event was held at the resort. A new look and event icon needed to be created.
 

This time Peter and Paolo took inspiration from the exotic birds that inhabited the resort. We worked closely with the company’s marketing team to create the event icon. Thus the  "Bird in Flight” icon came into being. Building upon the skills and artists of the local area, a “Bird in Flight” tile was also created. The “bird” incorporated each of the colors designated by the corporate marketing dept. The “Bird in Flight” icon was then used on the event website, travel documents, invitations, gift items and even on the step and repeat for the welcome entrance. The following evening the Step and Repeat was repurposed for the red carpet walk way before guests entered the ballroom.
 

The “Tile” was the incorporated into the decor for final evenings event, as part of the tabletop decor. The icon was used in a custom gobo for projection onto the exterior buildings. For the awards dinner event it was repeated on the menu cards and projected around the interior of the ballroom. Could say this party had wings.
