The brief was to create an intimate dinning experience to show case the interior of a newly built conference hall. Not an easy task with a large, empty modern space, which was anything but intimate. 

So how did we create an intimate dining experience? We suggested a sophisticated floating modern pop up dining room. Modern rectangular  “Chromed Branch” boxes were designed and built to surround a raised carpeted platform. The corner boxes were placed vertical to “close-in” the dinning space and give a more intimate feel and at the same time show case the hall. These boxes were lit from inside with wireless led light strips.The soft beige colored carpet added warmth, light and helped with acoustics. The walnut chairs were chosen from the clients regular dinning room and helped to add to the modern feel.

Two “L shaped” sofas were placed in the opposite corners to soften the overall look and help create that intimate special space.  

Our custom print tablecloths with concentric circles in coordinated colors helped off set the squareness of the hall and bring an other modern twist to the curated space. A fresh floral arrangement of warm colorful orange roses and spring viburnum added another vibrant touch to finish off the overall design.
